Scientific Study Finds That Kratom Improves Cholesterol Levels In The Body, Via Lowering Triglyceride And Raising HDL ('Good Cholesterol') Levels; Therefore Kratom Can Potentially Prevent Heart Attacks, Heart Disease, Stroke, Etc.

Kratom has numerous benefits, such as relieving pain, alleviating stress, improving health, fighting sickness, etc. Now another Kratom benefit can be firmly added to the list: Kratom improves the balance of Cholesterol in the body, which in-turn means that Kratom has the potential to improve cardiovascular health, including potentially lowering the risk of heart disease, heart attacks, strokes, and everything else caused by bad cholesterol levels.

The discovery of this Kratom benefit comes from a new scientific study titled ‘High serum high-density lipoprotein and low serum triglycerides in Kratom users: A study of Kratom users in Thailand‘. In this study the cholesterol levels of 581 people in Thailand were analyzed, and the cholesterol levels of Kratom users and non-Kratom users was compared.

Ultimately the study found that Kratom use was highly correlated with HDL cholesterol levels greater than 60 mg/dL. Additionally, Kratom use was highly correlated with triglyceride levels less than 90 mg/dL. Both of these levels are considered to be in the very healthy range.

Breaking this down further, HDL Cholesterol is considered ‘good cholesterol’ since it actually picks up excess cholesterol in the blood and takes it back to the liver, where it is broken down and removed from the body. Essentially, HDL cleans cholesterol from the body, resulting in less plaque build-up in the cardiovascular system. Indeed, high HDL levels are correlated with a lower risk of heart attacks, stroke, etc. Therefore, it’s a very good thing that Kratom use raises HDL levels. 

As for triglycerides, they are essentially the main type of fat that circulates in the bloodstream, and too much triglycerides causes plaque to build up in the cardiovascular system, which can lead to heart attack, heart disease, stroke, etc. Once again, this latest study found that Kratom lowered triglyceride levels, which is a very good thing.

Further, this is not the first time a study has found that Kratom improves the balance of cholesterol levels in the body. A previous study found that Kratom use lowers LDL cholesterol levels, which is the ‘bad cholesterol’ that leads to all sorts of problems, and therefore it’s a good thing that Kratom lowers LDL levels.

Putting all of this together, there is increasing evidence that Kratom drastically improves the body’s cholesterol balance, via lowering the levels of LDL and triglycerides, and raising the levels of HDL aka ‘good cholesterol’.

This is a very serious Kratom benefit that deserves much more research and attention, since the beneficial possibilities are wide-ranging. Literally, based on this data it seems quite possible that Kratom can reduce the risk of heart attacks, stroke, heart disease, and other cardiovascular problems, and therefore Kratom has massive potential to improve lives and save lives.
